Director Of Supply Chain | Operations Sydney, NSW | Full-time | Leadership Opportunity An established, globally connected organisation is seeking a Director of Supply Chain | Operations to lead its end-to-end Supply Chain across Manufacturing, Logistics and Warehousing. This is a senior leadership role for an operationally grounded executive who is equally comfortable setting strategy and working hands-on through complex operational challenges. Reporting to the Director of Global Supply Chain, this role plays a critical part in stabilising, optimising and evolving operations in line with broader global objectives. The successful candidate will be highly visible in the business—working through the detail, engaging directly with teams on the floor, and driving tangible improvement rather than operating from a purely corporate distance. Key Accountabilities Operational Leadership Provide strong, hands-on leadership across Manufacturing, Logistics and Warehousing operations. Maintain a visible presence across operational sites, working directly with teams to solve problems and improve performance. Bring together office-based and operational staff, ensuring alignment, accountability and shared ownership of outcomes. Execution & Continuous Improvement Drive operational efficiency, service performance and cost effectiveness through disciplined execution. Review, challenge and improve existing processes, systems and ways of working. Lead operational change initiatives from design through to implementation, ensuring changes are embedded and sustained. Actively work "in the weeds" when required to unblock issues and accelerate outcomes. Safety, Compliance & Governance Ensure a strong safety-first culture across all operational environments. Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), EHS and ISO requirements. Commercial & Financial Performance Deliver operational outcomes aligned to revenue, margin and cost objectives. Manage budgets and ensure operational initiatives and projects are delivered within agreed parameters. Contribute to broader business planning and global supply chain strategy execution. People & Culture Build capable, accountable leadership teams through coaching, mentoring and direct engagement. Drive performance, engagement and capability development across operational teams. Lead with resilience and pragmatism in complex, changing environments. Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with senior leaders and global stakeholders to align local execution with global strategy. Build strong relationships with suppliers, partners and service providers. The Profile This role will suit an operational leader who is decisive, resilient and execution-focused. Demonstrated ability to lead operational transformation in complex, multi-disciplinary environments. Strong change management capability with a practical, hands-on approach. Sound commercial and financial acumen. Deep understanding of safety, environmental and regulatory compliance frameworks.
